Welcome to The Good Plate, a hidden gem nestled within the bustling Westin Las Vegas Hotel on Flamingo Road. This delightful restaurant expertly marries New American and Asian Fusion cuisines, creating an eclectic menu that resonates with both locals and hotel guests. Whether you are looking to enjoy a leisurely breakfast, a quick lunch, or a sumptuous dinner, The Good Plate serves a diverse selection to satisfy your palate.
One of the standout features of The Good Plate is its customer-centric service. Many patrons have noted the prompt and friendly staff, which adds warmth to the dining experience. A customer named Jeff R. encapsulated this perfectly, describing the service as both attentive and helpful during his visits. As part of the hotel’s Bonvoy Ambassador privileges, guests can also bask in the convenience of complimentary breakfast, making the mornings even brighter.
Though the restaurant shines in many areas, it also has room for improvement. While customer reviews highlighted excellent dishes such as the duck fat French fries and lobster rolls, some guests felt that certain items, like the buttermilk fried chicken, fell short of expectations by being a bit greasy. However, the undeniable highlight for many was the fried chicken itself—cooked to order and delivered perfectly crispy and succulent, proving that waiting for a well-prepared dish is often worth it.
- Vegan Options: The Good Plate offers selections that cater to various dietary needs, though some vegetarian guests have suggested that the menu could be expanded for better variety.
- Atmosphere: With a moderate noise level and a calming ambiance, it serves as a refreshing retreat from the usual chaos found in Las Vegas.
- Accessibility: Dogs are welcome, making it a pet-friendly dining option for those traveling with furry companions.
The dessert menu at The Good Plate also deserves a mention. Guests have praised the butter cake, along with chocolate cake and fruit tarts, perfect for those looking to indulge in something sweet after a meal. Katherine S. confirmed this by sharing her delight in having desserts packaged to enjoy in the comfort of her hotel room, a wonderful touch that enhances the overall experience.
While The Good Plate is located within a hotel, don't let its setting fool you. As noted by visitors, this restaurant offers a surprising culinary experience that stands out amongst typical hotel fare. The blend of flavors and attention to detail can turn a standard hotel stay into a memorable dining adventure. And for those venturing out in the sweltering Las Vegas heat, The Good Plate is a refreshing escape, even if the AC can be a tad chilling at times.
If you find yourself in Las Vegas, make sure to stop by The Good Plate for a meal that promises comfort, flavor, and a touch of attentive hospitality. You may discover that this is the kind of place where the food truly speaks for itself.

Service and food were really good here. In the Westin Las Vegas Hotel, I had breakfasts here each morning and as part of my Bonvoy Ambassador privileges breakfast was free. The lunch and dinner menus are good but the buttermilk fried chicken was a little soggy and greasy but all other meals were good. Lobster rolls and the duck fat French fries were pretty good. Nice and friendly staff and good attentive service.

Service was excellent. Restaurant inside the Westin. Poached eggs are so good when done right. One was perfect, the other needed a little longer. Egg whites should be cooked all the way. Coffee was hot and good.

5 stars for Maxim lounge and Sarah for giving me this awesome pineapple mock tail. The bar was crowded but both the folks were doing such an awesome job 3 star for Good plate for having such a limited menu for vegetarian folks. Their warm butter cake was average- cake was not cooked inside. Very good service but the good plate was empty

When it's a really hot, long day and you don't feel like leaving your room, it's hard to argue with bringing dessert up to your hotel room. It was hard to find the dessert menu online for this place but they had a good variety for a small selection: butter cake, chocolate cake and a fruit tart. All good portions, all tasty ... and the service was great. They were kind and quick to package up the desserts to eat in the room.

I had amazing fried chicken last night at Good Plate and they deserve a big shout out. After a change of plans I ended up eating alone in the restaurant in the lobby of my hotel. The bland ambience didn't promise much. The wait staff was kind and attentive and I was advised the fried chicken would take extra time to prepare. I love fried chicken. If they really were making it to order I'd happily wait. After 25 minutes, a beautifully plated fried half chicken with arugula salad arrived. Worth the wait! Obviously it had just been pulled from the fryer - too hot to eat immediately. A good sign. I crunched through a crispy perfectly seasoned coating into succulent moist chicken and I was very happy. Good salad too.

Really wasn't expecting much from a hotel restaurant. The seating area looked like the standard, budget, industrial design of a sturdy over elegant budget hotel furnishings. Looking at the review photos, I was expecting to be whelmed. Not over, not under. Then I asked the hostess to seat us. She was crazy fast and efficient and polite. The waiter was amazingly on point, efficient and respectfully nice. Finally the Chillaquilles breakfast was amazing! Looked wonky but tasted awesome. Came away impressed. Don't let the looks fool you. I felt that for a hotel restaurant in a chain, you can't get more than this.

I really appreciate this place, because I don't like Vegas, but I have to come here on business, and The Good Plate is a nice quiet respite from the noisy cigaretty vibe at the casinos. The restaurant has a very calming atmosphere, tasteful decor, decent food, and if you stay at the Westin, sometimes they hook you up with free drink and dessert tickets. Good food is hard to find in Vegas if you're not spending a fortune, so just having a dependable option downstairs from my hotel room is a godsend for me. Service can be spotty; they are under-staffed but doing the best they can with just a few servers. Good job, good plate Tip: bring a sweater; the AC is powerful and it gets chilly in the restaurant, especially on a hot day.

This is the only restaurant that exist in the hotel. Located in the Westin on Flamingo Road just off the LV Strip, this place serves up breakfast, lunch and dinner. I pass by this place regularly but have never made it a point to sit down for a meal. The food pictures online looks so good, while the price is reasonable. Opted for the Classic Breakfast which includes 2 eggs, bacon, pork or chicken sausage, fingerling potatoes, and choice of toast. For a drink I ordered hot coffee. Started off with toast which included butter, and 2 types of jelly. Eggs were nicely scrambled, chicken sausage was cooked slightly crispy, but potatoes were a little too cooked. There is no outdoor seating. All indoor dining within the hotel lobby. But then again, would you want to eat outdoors during the summer heat of 100 plus? All the wait staff work fast and friendly while very helpful. They can make your food to go but I recommend dining in as most times I have to power eat depending on how hungry I feel or what time of the day. Also, the server offered me coffee to go. Please check this place out if you are staying at this hotel!
